your space ART CLUB

"Your Space" Art Club is a newly formed weekly meet up where once a week you can attend a relaxed creative workshop for free and materials are provided.

The group currently meet every Monday from 1-2.30 PM at Nurture Centre, Carmarthen.

The "You Space Art" club was established in July 2023 as a community initiative to provide accessible, low cost events that encourage learning and skill sharing within the local community, through the medium of art. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to explore their creativity in a safe environment. Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, we are now able to put on free and accessible events for the next year.

Why ‘Your Space’?

Our aim is to provide a nurturing safe space for members of the community to have their own say in what goes on in the weekly meet-ups. We encourage the group to provide us with feedback on what they would like to make and learn in the space provided, through polls on our online social media platforms and feedback forms handed out at the end of each session. With the help of the Community Fund, we can facilitate a wide range of free creative workshops that incorporate many artistic techniques and craft skills. We are all learning together.
