6 week block of Wing Chun
This course is perfect for beginners.
The course starts on the 12th of May, with the final session of this block on the 16th of June.
Wing Chun originated as a Southern Chinese Kung Fu style and was developed for crowded urban environments such as the cities most people live in today.
It is a close-quarters system form of defence, also known as "beautiful springtime". It requires quick arm movements and strong legs, but is practiced by people of all ages, sizes, shapes and degrees of physical ability.
It is applicable to both men and women, although women tend to progress very quickly in the art. It uses structure rather than strength, so it is based on the natural human anatomy, and does not require extraordinary flexibility or athleticism.
